NOPSEMA Strategic Human Resources Plan

Miles Morgan worked with senior management at NOPSEMA to develop a Strategic Human Resources Plan as part of the agency’s desire to focus its people management strategy over the next three years.

As a relatively ‘new’ agency having transitioned from NOPSA, the plan was designed to maximise the opportunities inherent in the early stages of human resource development, while also providing a clear direction relevant to the agency’s mission and vision.

The Strategic Human Resources Plan included the following elements:

  • Review of existing corporate, communications and people management planning;
  • Internal consultations with the project steering committee;
  • Provision of an environmental scan focused on good practice in strategic HR planning;
  • Development of a tailored HR Plan for the agency

The Plan was accepted by the project’s Steering Committee.
